Truly wordless

A "wordless Wednesday" entry, because words can't honestly explain the emotions that arise when I see these pictures.

Caption of photo: The tragedy of Ethiopia spooks aid workers like Jean de Cambry, an MSF emergency Coordinator who has witnessed these terrible situations in other countries. "It's very bizarre," he says. "It's so green, but you have all these people dying of hunger."

  1. Powerful pictures! Powerful words! Your child will be one of the fortunate ones! She will be fed, housed, educated, guided, and loved. The whole world is starving for food, tolerance, education, housing, medical supplies, understanding, peace, inspiration and the list goes on. It is overwhelming to acknowledge it all. So we do the best we can each day and hope that the ripple effect of our actions will bring about consequences that help to eradicate the woes of the world. We will all embrace your beautiful child born in Ethiopia and know we are taking a loving step towards embracing the whole world. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us, thanks to both of you, Pete & Viv.
